Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using WarMaps (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
About the App
WarMaps is a location-based mobile game where you:
• Walk in the real world to capture virtual territories
• Compete with other players for land ownership
• Buy, sell, and trade territories
• Earn and spend virtual currency
The App requires:
• iOS device with GPS
• Location services enabled
• Internet connection
• Apple Game Center account
Safety Warning
Your safety is your responsibility.
When using the App:
• Always be aware of your surroundings
• Do not use the App while driving or operating vehicles
• Do not trespass on private property
• Do not enter dangerous or restricted areas
• Obey all traffic laws and signals
• Respect “No Trespassing” signs
We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, property damage, or legal issues arising from your use of the App. Play safely and responsibly.
Your Account
• You must use Apple Game Center to play
• One account per person
• You are responsible for your account security
• Do not share your account
• Provide accurate information
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Cheat, hack, or use unauthorized software
• Exploit bugs or glitches
• Use fake GPS or location spoofing
• Create multiple accounts
• Harass or abuse other players
• Use offensive player names
• Attempt to reverse engineer the App
• Sell your account for real money
• Use bots or automated systems
• Interfere with game servers
• Violate any laws
Violations may result in account termination without refund.
Virtual Currency and Items
Virtual Currency (Coins)
• Coins are virtual items with no real-world value
• Coins cannot be exchanged for real money
• Coins are non-transferable and non-refundable
• Unused coins have no value if your account is terminated
• We may adjust coin values or prices at any time
Territories
• Territories are virtual and do not represent real property
• You do not own real-world land by capturing territories
• Territories can be conquered by other players
• We may remove territories that violate these Terms
• Territory data may be lost due to technical issues
In-App Purchases
• All purchases are processed by Apple
• Purchases are final and non-refundable (except as required by law)
• Refund requests must be made through Apple
• We do not store your payment information
Marketplace
• Players can list territories for sale (virtual coins only)
• All sales are final — no refunds
• We do not guarantee territory value
• Selling territories for real money is prohibited
• Price manipulation and fraud are prohibited
Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of location data or maps
• Preservation of your game data
• Specific coin earning rates
• Territory value or availability
• Protection from other players
• Compatibility with all devices
Service interruptions
The App may be unavailable due to:
• Maintenance and updates
• Server issues or outages
• Technical problems
• Factors beyond our control
We are not liable for any loss of data, territories, virtual currency, or game progress due to service interruptions, bugs, or technical issues.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for:
• Personal injury or property damage
• Loss of territories or virtual currency
• Loss of game progress or data
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Actions of other players
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or goodwill
Maximum liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the past 12 months, or $50 USD, whichever is less.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not fully apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws
• Your negligence or misconduct
• Injuries or damage you cause while using the App
This includes legal fees and costs.
Termination
We may terminate your access if:
• You violate these Terms
• You engage in cheating or fraud
• You harass other players
• Required by law
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
Upon termination:
• Your license to use the App ends
• Your territories and coins are forfeited
• No refunds for purchases
• We may delete your data
Changes to Terms and Service
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and the App at any time, with or without prior notice.
This includes the right to:
• Update or change these Terms of Service
• Modify or discontinue the App (temporarily or permanently)
• Change game rules, features, or mechanics
• Adjust coin values, prices, or economy
• Add or remove features
Changes to these Terms are effective immediately upon posting in the App. The “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
We are not liable for any modifications or discontinuation of the App.
Intellectual Property
• We own all rights to the App, including code, design, and content
• “WarMaps” name and logo are our property
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App
• Do not copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Do not use our trademarks without permission
Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide support
• Apple is not responsible for warranty claims
• Apple is not liable for any claims about the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
• You must comply with Apple’s App Store Terms
General
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us
• If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in effect
• Our failure to enforce a right does not waive it
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms

• You accept all risks associated with gameplay
• You are responsible for your own safety
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Rewarded Ads
The App may offer optional rewarded video ads.
• Rewarded ads are shown only when you actively tap to watch
• Rewards are granted only after successful completion of the ad
• Daily limits may apply to rewarded ads
• Ad availability is not guaranteed at all times
• We may adjust reward values or limits at any time
• Abuse, automation, or fraud to obtain rewards is prohibited
