How is still different from similar apps?
still is focused entirely on your prayer life. While there are many excellent Bible and devotional apps, what sets still apart is its comprehensive approach that gives you both the big picture of your prayer journey and detailed statistics for individual prayers. It also offers in-depth assessments of your prayer life, bringing all these elements together into a beautiful, unified picture that encourages and guides you to continually grow in Christ.
What about AI usage in the app? Can it be trusted?
We use carefully designed prompts to provide answers that are sound and grounded in Scripture. However, AI can still make mistakes, so we encourage you to read our Statement on AI and Technology for more information.
What does the name mean?
The name "still" comes from Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God." It serves as a reminder of Who should be at the center of our lives.

By downloading, installing, or using still ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
About the App
still is a personal prayer and spiritual growth app that helps you track prayers, record answered prayers, journal, receive daily devotionals, and reflect on your relationship with God.
The App includes AI-assisted features to provide personalized devotional content and prayer insights. These features are provided as a spiritual aid and are not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral counsel, or your own discernment.
Your Account & Data
still does not require an account to use core features. Your prayers and journal entries are stored locally on your device unless you enable optional sync features.
- You are responsible for keeping your device secure
- Do not share your device with others if you wish to keep your prayers private
- Deleting the app will delete all locally stored data
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App for lawful, personal purposes only. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer the App, misuse AI features to generate harmful content, or violate any applicable laws.
AI Features & Disclaimer
still uses AI to generate devotional content and prayer insights. While we carefully design prompts to be sound and grounded in Scripture, AI can make mistakes. We encourage you to always weigh AI-generated content against Scripture and seek pastoral guidance when needed.
AI-generated content does not constitute theological, spiritual, or pastoral advice.
In-App Purchases
still may offer optional premium features via in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law. Refund requests must be directed to Apple. We do not store your payment information.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of AI-generated content, preservation of your prayer data, or compatibility with all devices.
We are not liable for any loss of prayer data, journal entries, or personal content.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the past 12 months, or $50 USD, whichever is less.
Intellectual Property
We own all rights to the App, including code, design, and content we create. Your personal prayer entries and journal content remain yours. You grant us no rights to your personal content.
Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for any claims relating to the App.
Changes & Contact
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of updated Terms.

Introduction
Welcome to still ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Your prayer life is deeply personal — we treat your data with the utmost care and collect only what is necessary for the App to function.
What We Collect
Local Data (stored on your device only): Your prayer entries, journal entries, labels, statuses, and reflection notes are stored locally on your device. We do not access or transmit this content.
Purchase Data: In-app purchase receipts processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment card information.
Analytics Data (first-party, minimal): App usage patterns, crash reports, and performance data — sent as coarse, anonymized categories. We do not send your prayer content in analytics.
AI Features: If you use AI-assisted devotionals or assessments, the content you submit to generate those responses may be sent to an AI service provider. We do not store these submissions longer than necessary to generate your response.
How We Use Your Information
We use information only to provide App features, process purchases via Apple, diagnose crashes, and improve the App. We do not sell your data. We do not share your prayer content with third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your prayers and journal entries are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly enable a sync feature (if available). We use HTTPS for any network communication and follow platform security best practices.
Third-Party Services
still may use: Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases), Apple Push Notifications (reminders), Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (performance and crash reporting), and an AI service provider for devotional content generation. Each is subject to their own privacy policies.
Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
You may delete all your data at any time by deleting the App from your device. For any data held on our servers, you may request access or deletion by contacting us. We retain purchase history for 7 years as required by law.
Children's Privacy: still is not intended for children under 13.
